I'VE ALWAYS BELIEVED THE RIGHT WORDS CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING.

Sometimes they arrive as a sentence. Sometimes a story. Sometimes a question you can't stop thinking about.
And sometimes, one small word lands at exactly the right moment and suddenly you see your life differently.

I'm Cindy Yantis—writer, storyteller, Word Shaman and creator of Abundant Creation.

I FOLLOW THE WORDS

My professional life has taken me through advertising, business, coaching, screenwriting, storytelling and more than a few creative reinventions. Through all of it, one thing has remained constant: I follow the words.
I've written essays, screenplays, television projects, articles, stories and books. I've helped other people uncover the heart of their stories and bring ideas into form.
What are you really trying to say? That question fascinates me.

My life’s mission came to me in a flash during a
Dark Night of the Soul:
“Write meaningful prose that will change people’s lives."

SOMEWHERE ALONG THE WAY, I BECAME A WORD SHAMAN.

The name was given to me by others before I fully claimed it myself. But it fits.
For me, being a Word Shaman isn't about having all the answers. It's about listening deeply enough to recognize the word, story, metaphor or question that might open a door.

WHICH BRINGS ME TO ABUNDANT CREATION.

Abundant Creation is both my company and a philosophy I've come to live by.
What you can imagine is but a fraction of what is possible.
We create conversations. Relationships. Businesses. Stories. Possibilities. Second acts. New beginnings. We create ourselves again and again.

aND I'M STILL CREATING.

I'm writing. I'm exploring. I'm following ideas that intrigue me and words that won't leave me alone.
Read something. Write something. Learn something. Create something. And above all—stay curious about what's still possible.

JUST SOME TRIVIA

I dig traveling, SCUBA diving, golf, hiking, movies, reading, dining with friends and wine-tasting road trips.
As a former Miss Indiana, I was a national finalist in the Miss America Pageant.
I sang the national anthem on the 20-yard line at the opening of the Indianapolis Colts Hoosier Dome and forgot the words on national television as the entire team ran out of the locker room onto the field.
