THE MAYOR OF HAPPENSTANCE is a mid-life crisis family dramedy single camera hybrid about an LA celebrity life coach who loses her business, her home and her marriage, then moves back home to her Central Coast wine town with her two daughters in tow. Once there, by happenstance she’s elected mayor and has to juggle her family wine business, her stuck-in-the-past town, her whacky life coach clients and her overbearing dead father.
Every small town needs a life-coach mayor.
